Sunil joined Approach Dentistry over 25 years ago and is now the sole owner of the practice. He qualified from Guys Hospital in London. He provides an array of Dental treatments including Restorative, Crown and Bridge, Root Canal Fillings, Dentures, Children’s Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry. Sunil regularly attends postgraduate courses to keep up to date with new developments in Dentistry. He was past chairman of Barnet Local Dental Committee and is now an active member. He enjoys playing squash and racket ball and is an avid follower of Cricket and Football. He enjoys trekking and walking. He has climbed Kilimanjaro and all our UK peaks.
Chetan qualified at the University of Sheffield, and has been with Approach for over 10 years. Since joining the practice he has continually furthered his training and knowledge in various facets of dentistry, including adult orthodontics, tooth whitening, and cosmetic dentistry including smile design. Modern minimally invasive techniques can achieve life-changing results. As well as providing routine dental treatments, Chetan performs implant dentistry, and has trained at the world-renowned Royal College of Surgeons of England. Chetan has been providing facial aesthetics at the practice for a number of years and has a keen interest in anti ageing treatments including the use of dermal fillers and BTX. We understand that the thought of coming to see the dentist may cause anxiety, accordingly, Chetan has a calming and gentle approach, which helps puts patients minds at ease. Outside of dentistry, Chetan is a family man whose two young boys and wife keep him busy. He has a keen interest in cricket and football, and enjoys traveling.
Barry Saidel qualified as a General Dental Practitioner at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1988. He owned his own Private Practice before emigrating to the UK with his wife and two children in 1999, when he first joined Approach Dentistry. Barry provides Private dental care and especially enjoys brightening peoples smiles with minimally invasive Cosmetic Dentistry. Barry has an easy going and gentle manner which puts even anxious patients at ease. Barry is also a part-time Clinical Teacher and Examiner at Kings College London Dental Institute. In his spare time Barry enjoys playing tennis, and his hobbies include reading and photography.
Bhavin qualified from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia, Spain and has been with the Approach since 2016. Since his time here, he has completed the Chris Orr '1 year Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry course' and Quick Straight Teeth orthodontics enabling him to provide both fixed and removable braces for adults. Bhavin particularly enjoys treating anxious patients who want to overcome their fears and improve their smile and self-confidence. Outside of the surgery, Bhavin enjoys keeping fit and plays tennis regularly. He is a regular at the Emirates' Stadium and loves to travel.
Sharon started at Approach Dentistry 24 years ago having qualified from Kings College Dental School. She has a large number of patients who have been with her since that time and she is passionate about oral health and providing the best possible care to her patients. Sharon has two grown up daughters and three grandchildren who, in her spare time she loves to spend time with.
Karen has been with Approach Dentistry for 25 years. She qualified as a dental nurse at the Eastman Dental Hospital and then furthered her career in Dental Hygiene. She qualified as a hygienist in 1987 at University College Hospital. She is very passionate about her career and providing the best of care to her patients, many of whom she has continued to treat since she started at the practice. She continues to stay up to date by attending relevant dental courses. Outside of her career at Approach Dentistry, she has a busy family life with 3 boys. She loves going to the gym and keeping fit and has a passion for cooking.
Pallavi qualified as a General Dental Practitioner at the University of Bristol. She returned to Approach Dentistry after 18 years to focus on dental hygiene. Pallavi is excited about her change in direction in the dental field. She has a calming nature which puts patients at ease. Pallavi has three children, ensuring a busy family life. She is passionate about cooking and is constantly experimenting with food.
We also have a number of friendly support staff including our dental nurses and receptionists without whom our team would not be complete. We are very proud of the care and attention they show to our patients. Their impressive range of skills and abilities is a great credit to them and invaluable to our practice.

The dentists and hygienists are assisted by our dedicated and professional nursing team, Bernice, Dorina, Alina, Marjan and Roxana. The nurses also offer care and support to our patients during their dental appointment in a dignified and sensitive manner.
